Product Description

Standard medium-green curly kale resistant to Fusarium yellows and black rot.  Kale is very cold hardy, and the flavor actually improves when plants are exposed to frost.  60 days to maturity.

Packet is 10 seeds.

Kale can be started indoors. Sow in cell packs 1/4″ deep. If possible, keep soil temperature over 75°F until germination, then reduce air temperature to about 60°F. Seedlings should be ready for transplanting in 4-6 weeks. Transplant in the garden 12–18″ apart. Kale can also be direct-sown about 3 months before expected last fall frost.
