Product Description
Upright plants with thick, uniform stalks that are sweeter and more complex in flavor. Can be sown in early spring for summer use or in July or August for fall and spring use. 60 days to full maturity.
Packet is 25 seeds.
Seeds can be started indoors in cell packs or trays. Sow seeds 1/4″ deep. Beginning in late spring, when 8″ tall, transplant to the garden 6″ apart in holes dibbled about 6″ deep. Only 1-2″ of the leaves need to extend above soil level. Do not firm soil. Allow irrigation or rain to fill in the dibbled hole. You can also direct-sow in soil, spacing 6″ apart.
Onion seeds store well for about a year and then start losing their viability. These seeds were packed for 2021.
