I am a hobby grower, so I do not have a storefront to sell plants. I sell extra plants here and there when I have them, which is usually often in my case! Since I love to experiment with propagating ALL thing things, and if I’m successful, I sell some of those things, along with any extra plants started from seeds. (I really do have a problem and tend to go a little lot overboard!) A good portion of the money I make from selling plants goes into a separate checking account to cover vet expenses for our 5 very expensive cats.
Where To Pick Up Plants
If you know where I live already, or if I have spoken to you and said you can pick up plants at my house, that pickup location will be an option when you go to checkout. Otherwise, I usually meet at 2 locations: Petco in Gadsden (308 E. Meighan Blvd, Gadsden, AL 35903) or Jack’s in Hokes Bluff (2000 US 278, Gadsden, AL 35903). I am also going to be at the EGC Plant Swap in Glencoe on May 31st, so until mid-day May 30th, that pickup location will also be an option during checkout. You will need to prepay for your plants if you want to pick them up at the plant swap.
Setting Up a Day and Time
If you are here from social media, you can send me a message on that social media platform before making your prepaid purchase here on my website. You can also complete your order, and I will contact you via text message if we don’t already have a time set to meet. (I prefer text so I have a ‘physical’ note to refer back to.) My cell number will also be on your email receipt (check your spam folder if you don’t get it shortly after completing payment).
Payments and Cash on Pickup
If you are using this site to pay for plants ahead of time and guarantee they are reserved for you, you can use debit/credit cards (secure site), PayPal, or CashApp. Just select your payment type at checkout. You don’t HAVE to prepay for plants, but doing so would make it a lot easier for me, especially if I have a lot at any given time. I have set up this little local pickup section on my website to better track how many of something is left, and when you prepay, it automatically lowers the # in stock and reserves your plant – no matter what. I will do my best to manually alter the inventory numbers if you want to pay with cash (please try to have exact change since I never know what type of bills I will have on me at any given time).
